Lynn C. Gordon, Th.D.
Lindner Center of HOPE, Spiritual Care Coordinator

Dr. Gordon joined Lindner Center of HOPE in June 2008 and serves as the Spiritual Care Coordinator.  At Lindner Center of HOPE, spirituality is integrated into the therapeutic treatment plan.  Dr. Gordon has a wide-range ministerial background and aligns it with a genuine compassion for people.

As Spiritual Care Coordinator, Dr. Gordon is committed to meeting the spiritual needs of each patient, client, and resident at the Lindner Center of HOPE.  Because the Center is a patient-family oriented facility, he sees the importance of availing himself to family members who might have spiritual needs, as well.

Dr. Gordon has served in full-time church ministry for 15 years.  In addition to working with people who suffer with mental illness, he has also worked with the homeless, addicts, and has counseled numerous people with social, financial and spiritual needs. He has also traveled to foreign countries as a conference speaker and has played a role in conducting a variety of missions’ projects with foreign missionaries.

In addition to the Lindner Center of HOPE, Dr. Gordon has served as an on-call chaplain for the Atrium Hospital in Middletown, Sycamore Hospital in Dayton, and Kettering Medical Center in Kettering. He is currently a member of the Ethics Committee and Community Outreach Team at Lindner Center of HOPE.

Dr. Gordon was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.  He and wife have been married for 22 years and have a son studying for the ministry in California and a daughter who is a senior in high school.
