Volunteer Opportunities

We have volunteer opportunities for individuals to assist in our Welcome Center, greeting and assisting visitors to the Center.  Basic computer skills are necessary for preparing visitor badges.  A friendly, flexible personality is also important to help make our visitors feel welcome.   
 
The hours for this volunteer position are 1:00 – 5:00 pm Wednesday through Friday.  Interested individuals must be able to work one of these days every week and have some flexibility to fill in on other days as needed.

While there are many causes of suicide, there are also many things we can do to help someone at risk.

Depression is a common disorder found in older adults, affecting as many as 20% of people over 65. However, it is not a normal part of the aging process and should not be ignored.

About 1 in 5 kids have a mental disorder and many suffer with depression, anxiety even schizophrenia.
