Do You Have Bipolar Depression?
Are You Taking a Mood Stabilizer?

The Research Institute at Lindner Center of HOPE is looking for participants currently taking a mood stabilizer but still struggling with depression to take part in a research study testing the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication for bipolar depression. An investigational medication is one not approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for this indication.

Qualified Participants Must:

  • Be 18 to 65 years of age
  • Currently taking a mood stabilizer such as Lithium, Depakote or Lamictal
  • Currently experiencing depression

Qualified Participants Receive:
  • All study-related care and study medication at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel

*The class of medications know as mood stabilizers include:  Carbamezepine (Tegretol), Valproate (Depakote), Lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid), Lamotrigine (Lamictal), Quetiapine (Seroquel), Olanzapine (Zyprexa), Aripiprazole (Abilify), Ziprasidone (Geodon) and Risperidone (Risperdal).
