The team of physicians, along with internationally recognized research and state-of-the-science technology can help your patient reach long lasting positive outcomes. Clinicians not only have access to the most current evidence on which to base their treatment, but the ability to implement innovative treatments into its clinical practice years ahead of general practice.

The Sibcy House Patient
It can sometimes be challenging to know when the right time to refer a patient is. As practitioners, we want to do whatever we can to help our patients return to good health.  But unfortunately, sometimes the issues aren't as obvious as one would think, or the patient is resistant to the treatment being delivered. Maybe the issues are so complex and co-morbid that it makes sense to refer a patient to doctors who are multi-licensed and trained in complex illnesses.

Our approach offers a clinical advantage for patients who:
  • Are experiencing their first behavioral crisis or have recently been diagnosed with a mental disorder.
  • Have struggled with long-standing mental illness and/or multiple diagnoses.
  • Experience intermittent or escalating behavioral crises.
  • Have reached an impasses with their current treatment plan.
  • Are facing difficulties at work school or home caused by substance or behavioral addictions.
  • Had their medications changed three or more times in an attempt to alleviate their symptoms.
  • May have multiple underlying issues that may not have even been diagnosed yet.
  • Nothing seems to be working and the next steps are difficult to determine.

Our Philosophy
An accurate diagnosis is the cornerstone of successful treatment. Often, patients arrive at Sibcy House with multiple diagnoses and a history of treatment attempts. Sibcy House clinicians will use proven methodologies to arrive at a conclusive diagnosis on which a patient's individualized treatment plan is based. Incorporated into the treatment is a comprehensive approach to care, including unique treatment plans, family involvement when appropriate, research based treatment, nutritional education, recreational therapy and group therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Women for Sobriety and daily mental health specialist groups.

Our Promise
We value you as our referrer and recognize that your input is an integral part of understanding the dynamics of each patient you refer. Sibcy House staff recognizes that updates on an on-going basis during the patients treatment including mid-treatment and at discharge is important.  When appropriate, staff will collaborate and communicate with referral sources. A summary of diagnostic results and treatment recommendations are provided to patients upon discharge. With the consent of the patient, a blueprint will be available to referring professionals and continuing care providers to provide continuity of care upon discharge.

If at any time you have questions regarding a client or patient, please call 513-536-0537.
