SummerSMART at Lindner Center of HOPE is a NEW 4-week summer program created for children age 11-14 with attention and anxiety issues.

Every child looks forward to a summer filled with fun, friends and new adventures away from the classroom. Sometimes children with behavioral issues are unable to fully enjoy the experiences that camp and vacation offer. SummerSMART is a unique summer program that welcomes children (age 11-14) who struggle with impulsivity, socialization difficulties, attention and concentration issues and anxiety disorders. The program caters to their special needs by encouraging inclusion and building confidence and socialization skills.
 
SummerSMART is a fun and active four-week experience where children will make new friends and learn how to  better cope with their individual challenges. The program lasts four weeks and will be offered twice during the summer in 2010:

Two four-week sessions:
    Session 1: June 14 to July 9
    Session 2: July 19 to August 13


Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Space is limited to keep sessions small.

Directed by clinical professionals. Staff to youth ratio is 1:5.
